Irina is the lead Portfolio Manager for LGM’s Global Emerging Markets Small Cap strategy and Co-Portfolio Manager for LGM’s GEM strategy. Irina has over twenty-six years’ industry experience, joining LGM in 2007. Initially, Irina focused mainly on Eastern European markets, becoming a co-Portfolio Manager for LGM’s GEM strategy in 2010 and in 2017 she launched LGM’s GEM Small Cap Strategy. Prior to joining the team, Irina was an Associate Portfolio Manager at AGF Funds Inc., supporting the AGF Emerging Markets fund in Toronto. Irina began her career in private markets where from 1994-98 she worked as a Vice President for the U.S-Russia Investment Fund, a private equity investment fund in Moscow, later working in Mergers & Acquisitions in both Canada and Russia.

Irina has an MBA from the University of Rochester as well as a Bachelor Degree in Finance and Banking from the Moscow Finance Academy.
